Refund and Returns Policy

Our return policy forms part of, and should be read in conjunction with, our terms and conditions, our privacy policy and our shipping policy. We reserve the right to change this return policy at any time.

Returns are only made once the product has arrived at its destination and has been received by the purchaser, no returns are made on products that are in transit for delivery or have not yet been delivered.

By making a purchase through the website, you declare and agree to be bound by the conditions described below. Our refund policy does not affect your statutory rights.

1. RETURNS AND REFUNDS

At Contemporary Cushions, all products are made to order, which means that they are manufactured specifically for each customer after the order has been placed. Due to the bespoke and unique nature of this production process, no returns are accepted and no refunds are issued in general circumstances. Each order is treated as unique, with the expectation of meeting the highest quality standards.

2. DEFECTIVE OR DAMAGED PRODUCTS

In the event of receiving a defective or damaged product, you have 7 calendar days from receipt of the product to make a claim. This procedure is designed to ensure that any problems with products are dealt with efficiently.
To initiate the return process for damaged or defective products, the customer must send a return request to our customer service via email. It is necessary to provide the name of the person who placed the order and attach photographic evidence that clearly demonstrates the defect or damage to the product.
Once the request has been approved, the customer will be able to choose between the following options:
Product Replacement: We will proceed to manufacture and ship a new product at no additional cost, ensuring that it meets the expected quality standards.
Full Refund: Alternatively, the customer may request a full refund of the amount paid. The refund will be processed via the original payment method used in the transaction.

3. RETURN INSTRUCTIONS

If it is necessary to return the defective or damaged product, detailed instructions on how to return the product will be provided. It is recommended that you use a secure courier service that offers tracking and confirmation of receipt to ensure that the product arrives in proper condition. Contemporary Cushions is not responsible for returns lost or damaged during return shipping.

4. CANCELLATION POLICY

Orders may be cancelled only if the cancellation request is made before the order has been shipped to production. Generally, orders go into production 24 hours after they have been confirmed on the website. Once an order is in production, it is not possible to cancel or modify it before it is shipped.
